Ground Calcium Carbonate (GCC) is used as a filler in the form of dry powder or slurry in many industrial applications like plastic, paint, rubber, sealants and paper in range of fine grade d97 < 10 μm to d97 < 2 μm. Coated GCC with stearic acid is use as an additive in almost all polymers.
